If you love hiking and nature, Anna Ruby falls is beautiful and Tallulah Gorge is only about 30 miles away. Brasstown Bald is the tallest point in Georgia at 4,784 feet. There are waterfalls, hiking trails, state parks and scenic routes in Helen. If you are planning a family trip, there is river tubing, a mountain coaster, an indoor slot car racing facility, zip lining, shopping, axe throwing, gem/gold/fossil mining, escape rooms, ghost tours and more!
