Casco, a nonprofit organization located in Harrisonville, MO, is seeking qualified and licensed electrical contractors to submit bids for the installation of outdoor lighting at our facility.

Project Overview:
We are looking to improve safety, visibility, and accessibility around our property through the installation of exterior lighting. The project may include (but is not limited to):
• Installation of pole lighting and/or wall-mounted fixtures
• Upgrading or adding wiring as needed
• Ensuring all work meets local codes and safety standards

Requirements:
• Must be a licensed and insured electrical contractor
• Experience with commercial or nonprofit projects preferred
• Ability to provide references upon request

Site Visit:
Contractors are encouraged to schedule a site visit prior to submitting a bid.

Bid Submission:
Please submit your bid along with your company information and any relevant experience by April 21, 2026

Casco was proud to travel to Jefferson City to the State Capitol to attend the A-Team Rally, standing strong in support of individuals with disabilities and advocating for the importance of sheltered employment.
We had the privilege of bringing a group of individuals along with us, giving them the opportunity to experience advocacy in action. Even more inspiring, several members of our group stepped forward and spoke in front of the crowd and sharing their voices, their stories, and their passion for choice in employment. Their courage truly represented what this movement is all about.
To make the day even more special, Casco was honored to receive the Missouri A-Team Chapter of the Year Award. This recognition reflects the dedication of our team and the individuals we support, all working together to promote opportunity, inclusion, and independence.

We are incredibly honored to share that CASCO attended the Mental Health Matters Gala hosted by Country Crossroads Counseling — and we were proud recipients of the IMPACT Award for Partnership! 💙✨

For over a decade, CASCO has had the privilege of partnering with CCC to support mental health awareness and services in our community. This partnership means so much to us, and this recognition is truly shared with their amazing team.

Through the years, we’ve proudly sponsored Warpaint Sr. and Coco the Corgi, helping support the meaningful and creative ways CCC connects with those they serve. 🐾🎨

We are also incredibly grateful for Susie Arbo and her dedicated staff, who regularly join us on our staff training days to provide valuable education on a wide range of important topics. Their expertise equips our team with tools, knowledge, and insight that help us better serve the individuals in our programs every single day.

Strong partnerships build stronger communities — and this one has made a lasting impact for more than ten years.

Back in January, two of our Directors and our CEO had the incredible opportunity to attend Products & Services Day at the Capitol, and they even had the chance to visit with Governor Mike Kehoe!

This annual event, organized by groups like the Missouri Association of Sheltered Workshop Managers (MASWM), brings together workshop representatives, staff, employees, and supporters from across Missouri to showcase the incredible work being done in our communities.

Throughout the day, attendees proudly displayed products and highlighted services provided by individuals with disabilities — demonstrating not only the quality of their work, but the powerful impact these programs have across our state.

💼 Why it matters:
Events like this give lawmakers the opportunity to see firsthand how Missouri’s workshops contribute to our local economy, strengthen the workforce, and create meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

🤝 Our goal:
To raise awareness, educate legislators, and build continued support for programs that empower individuals, promote independence, and make a lasting difference in communities across Missouri.

We crowned our Valentine’s King & Queen 👑❤️ let’s just say… the royal vibes were STRONG! The smiles, the cheers, the crowning moment? Absolutely priceless. 👏✨
