Slovenia is a small country the size of NH located at the borders of Italy, Austria, Croatia and Hungary. They are known for their beekeeping practices throughout Europe and one out of every 250 people are beekeepers. Their style of beekeeping is different from ours in that the bee hive boxes are worked from the back not the top. Many have bee houses to keep the hive boxes in so you can work under cover. One of the benefits is that you do not have to lift the heavy boxes. The other side of our business are Beekeeping Tours to Slovenia.
