Friday night in Fairbanks enjoyed Salmon Bake Dinner (the big salmon tried to get revenge on me!) & Palace Theater show, then flew to Dawson City Yukon Territory Canada looking over glacial silt-laden Yukon River before landing. The scarred mountain is an iconic backdrop to Dawson, our home for 2 days.

Into the National Park today, where only small bits of Denali were revealed. But saw several Caribou (check out that rack!), looking along Talkeetna braided river, squawking Raven, Dahl Sheep, beautiful vistas of the Alaska Range, polychrome Mountain, and the bear that followed us back into our lodge! Also sleepy sled dog puppy, Prospector Pizza stop and view of Lodge from across the Parks Hwy. Beautiful day in Denali!
