I know which princess your daughter is hoping to meet. I know youāre worried about being seated with strangers at dinner. And I know which reservations youāre nervous about getting.
And the funny thing isā¦Iām not even going on your vacation. ā¤ļø
Last week, while I was on my own Disney Cruise, I was answering questions about other familiesā cruises. Dining requests. Staterooms. Booking windows. Celebrations. All those little details that are actually really BIG details when itās your vacation.
I know the families behind those questions. I know what theyāre excited about, what theyāre worried about and what matters most to them.
And one of my favorite parts of owning Pirates & Princesses Travel is watching our agents do the same thing.
I hear the names. I hear the stories. I see them staying up late, solving problems and genuinely caring about vacations they arenāt even going on.
AI can research a resort. It can answer questions. It can build an itinerary.
But it CANāT care about your vacation.
It doesnāt get excited when the reservation you wanted opens up. It doesnāt know why one particular experience matters so much to your child. And it doesnāt smile when your vacation pictures start coming through.
Technology will keep changing the way we plan travel and weāll use it, too.
But knowing the families behind the reservations?
Thatās the part of this job I never want technology to replace. ā¤ļø
