Tugboat-LUNA

Tugboat-LUNA Tugboat Luna, located in Boston, is the first commercial diesel-electric tugboat. Designed by John Alden, built 1930 by M. M. Davis Shipyard, Solomons, MD.

The hull is oak on oak, with two Winton 129 diesels and GE generators, exciters and motor.
