Today, Holiday Travel World celebrates it's 50th anniversary; a half a century! 😱 A bittersweet celebration, as we couldn't hold on to the storefront for the full 50 years, due to caregiving reasons; a staple on the Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights! We held out for as long as we could, 49 1/2 years to be exact! The upside to this unavoidable decision was being able to move the business home! We're still assisting our clients through email / telephone! We do, however, miss all the new foot traffic and interacting with our clients, personally; so many who have become lifelong friends! Thankful and grateful to our loyal clientele adapting to our current professional status!

Time's up!

The iconic London Eye is on the move! 🎡🚛

Captured yesterday, footage shows the dismantling of the famous structure as it prepares for relocation to its new home on the shores of Loch Lomond. Originally planned as a Scottish tourist attraction, it was leased to London for 25 years—now, that time is up!

🚧 Travel Update 🚧
Renamed the "Loch Lomond Aye," the massive wheel will begin its journey north on Friday, 5th April. The two-mile-long convoy will travel from London to Scotland via the M40, M6, and M74 at an estimated speed of 15 mph. Drivers are advised to expect delays along the route.

Hate to see this iconic
footprint in mid-Strip Las Vegas, where I got to see the legendary Siegfried & Roy tigers show in the '90s become just a memory! No matter where you were, their volcano eruption 🌋 made heads turn on the Strip, and keep rewatching every time, in complete and utter awe, day or night, especially, at night! What a great decade; the Riviera (where we stayed), The Sands, The Tropicana, the Dunes, the Hacienda, the Desert Inn, the Stardust, the New Frontier, and the Landmark just to name a few, all of which have, or are scheduled to be imploded; so much history, never to be again! 😢 Happy to see what started it all, the Flamingo, still stands (for now)!
