First cast yesterday morning and we hooked up a blackfin tuna on a Trout rod in 25 foot of water, caught another one quick and onto the big drum before the wind blew up. What a day with the boys on the boat!

Our springtime fishery never seems to disappoint. We caught a little bit of everything yesterday. Overslot drum, bluefish, and sheepshead, with our biggest sheepshead weighing in at 14.88 pounds.

Little Ms. June is turning into quite the boat dog. Was greeted with some excellent jigging and bottom fishing this morning and schools of puppy drum this afternoon. Quite the march we’ve had!

The drum are here and lots of them. Big ones in the ocean and puppies on the inside, felt like every direction I looked this morning there was a school. More than happy to see it and have it all to myself at that.
