Had the chance to day trip to Asheville and visit Biltmore Estates. (Great easy day trip from Red Bird Ridge, by the way!) We found this delicious red blend, and couldn't resist switching to it as our 'house wine,' obviously because of the name.

Did some spring planting this week. New grass seed up by the house, and a whole bank of wildflower seeds down by the fire pit.

Hopefully it'll be the prettiest summer yet here!

The driveway got a gorgeous revamp, thanks to the fantastic work of Rob Barter. Happy to share his info if you need work done!

It even got put to the test just about 6 hours after he finished with a torrential thunderstorm. The after photo is actually after the thunderstorm too!
