Let’s talk about my clients and the AMAZING honeymoon they just booked! 🌴🤍

Next June, they’ll be heading to Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana to celebrate together, and I am SO excited for them! Not only will they get to enjoy everything this beautiful adults-only resort has to offer, but they’ll also have access to the family-friendly Hyatt Ziva right next door, giving them even more restaurants, pools and amenities to enjoy!

This is one of those resorts that I feel gets overlooked way too often. Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana is absolutely gorgeous, and the beach is a huge selling point. 🏝️ It sits along the beautiful shores of Juanillo Beach, with soft white sand, gorgeous turquoise water and that picture-perfect Caribbean setting you want when you’re heading somewhere like this for your honeymoon. Imagine starting your morning walking this beach and ending the day with a drink in your hand looking out over that water. 😍

And can we PLEASE talk about the spa?! 🤯

The Larimar Spa at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana is actually one of the resort’s standout features. It’s a massive 26,900-square-foot underground, cave-inspired spa designed to resemble the Dominican Republic’s natural cave systems. Rock, water and natural light are incorporated throughout, making it feel much more like a destination spa than your typical resort spa.

The centerpiece is the hydrotherapy circuit, featuring a cave-like hydrotherapy pool with a waterfall plus a skylit lagoon infused with larimar stone. 💦

And one of the coolest parts? The Himalayan Salt Lounge — the first of its kind in the Dominican Republic! 😍

Happy Monday! ✈️☀️

We’re starting a new week, and I’m ready to get some things DONE! I took several days off after my husband had surgery last Thursday and have been playing nurse ever since. I still have a few more days at home with him, so what better time to catch up on some travel work?! 💻❤️

Today was already a productive one!

🏝️ Halloween at Beaches Turks & Caicos!
First up, I booked a family of 4 to spend Halloween at Beaches Turks & Caicos! We found GREAT pricing for this property. I think their teens are going to absolutely love this resort—not only is the beach incredible, but there is SO much for them to do!

✈️ A little trip pivot!
Next, we had to make some adjustments for a group that was originally headed to Cozumel. United decided to do away with their flight home, so instead of stressing over it, we switched gears! They’ll now be heading to Cancun and staying in swim-out Privilege Level rooms at Ocean Allure. 🙌

🌴 Atelier Playa Mujeres!
I also had a couple decide to join a vacation to Atelier Playa Mujeres this October! I absolutely LOVE this resort. We’ve stayed here ourselves, and it is beautiful—the rooms are gorgeous, the grounds are lush and tropical, and the food was delicious. I can already picture them relaxing on the Bali beds by the pool with a Mango Tango in hand. 🍹😍

Tomorrow’s list includes finalizing two Disney trips that are traveling soon 🏰✨ and checking back in on the quotes I currently have out.

It feels good to be getting caught back up while still being home to take care of my patient. 😉 Here’s to a productive week!

✈️ I’m officially calling today Flight Change Friday! ✈️

Apparently, United decided to mix things up and change quite a few flights today — 16 of my clients’ flights, to be exact. 😅 I’ve spent a good portion of the day on hold and texting back and forth, getting everyone rebooked and making sure all the details were taken care of.

It’s amazing how something that sounds so simple can take up half the day and pull me away from my regular work, BUT it’s all part of the job! Days like today are also a great reminder of why having a travel agent in your corner can be so helpful. I’m always happy to step in, recognize what’s normal (and what’s not!), find the best solution, and get things resolved with as little stress for my clients as possible. ❤️

On top of that, my husband had another major surgery yesterday in Wichita to help correct some issues resulting from his accident last year. So today, I’m wearing ALL the hats — travel agent, caregiver… you name it. 🤣

Add in a little 6 AM Disney dining, and that pretty much sums up my Friday!

I’m hoping to finish and send out a few more things today before taking next week off. And after a day like this, I needed a little motivation, so I added some pictures of where I’ll be in 51 days to help me keep my eye on the prize. 🌴☀️😂

🎉Great news, Hays Regional Airport is back up and running!!! ✈️ Time to book your next adventure

✈️ Primary Runway Reopened & Commercial Flights Resumed!

The planned 21-day primary runway closure at Hays Regional Airport (HYS) has officially concluded on schedule, and SkyWest/United commercial passenger flights have resumed today, August 24.

While work on the full reconstruction of our crosswind runway continues to bring our facilities up to current FAA safety standards, our main runway is back open for scheduled service and general aviation.

Thank you for your patience and support as we invest in the safety, connectivity, and future of Northwest Kansas aviation!

Today was filled with lots of loose ends and final payments, and it feels SO good to get some things checked off my list! 🙌🏼✈️

I sent out several new quotes today, including a fun trip down to the Florida Keys! 🌴 Their main focus is finding the perfect house for 10 and visiting during Florida’s mini lobster season🦞 I also sent over some private charter options to explore because those can fill up early. Fingers crossed we’re planning early enough!

I also worked on a few honeymoon options 💍 and family trips for next summer. ☀️

Tomorrow I’ll be back at it—getting more options sent out and hopefully getting a few more trips finalized.

My shins still hurt from my last Disney trip and I’m not sure I’ve fully recovered from the exhaustion yet 🤣😂

So it’s pretty refreshing to open my United app and see my next BEACH vacation sitting there on the horizon. 🌴☀️🍹

I’ve always said it—I only love Disney as much as I do because I get to do so many other things, too! Give me the rope drops, 25,000-step days and Disney magic… but then PLEASE send me somewhere tropical where my only plans are a beach chair and a cold drink. 😂

It’s all about balance, right?! ✈️🏰➡️🌴

😂 Okay, if I were warning someone before they met you:

“Alright, a few things you need to know about Bria before you meet her. She is not a casual person. If she’s doing something, she’s doing ALL of it. Disney? There’s a plan, a backup plan, dining reservations, Lightning Lanes, and she already knows what time you need to leave the hotel. Vacation? She probably planned it better than the people who built the resort.

She has approximately 47 things happening at all times—clients traveling, salon appointments, four kids, track meets, family trips, practices, and probably three vacations she’s planning for herself while planning 30 other people’s vacations. Somehow, she knows where everyone is supposed to be.

Do not tell her ‘we’ll just wing it.’ That phrase may physically hurt her.

She loves hard, works hard, travels hard, and apparently vacations by walking 25,000 steps a day in 95-degree Florida heat and calling it her happy place.

She WILL research something until she knows more about it than the person whose actual job it is. Flights delayed? She already knows tomorrow’s options. Disney policy changed? She’s read it. Someone mentions a resort? Give her 30 seconds and she’ll tell you which room category to book.

She’s opinionated—but usually because she’s already done the research. 😂 She knows what she likes, she knows what she doesn’t, and there’s not a ton of mystery about which category you fall into.

Also, if you become one of her people, congratulations—you now have someone who will probably plan your vacation, fix your hair, organize the itinerary, feed you, take 900 pictures, and make sure everyone has a good time.

Basically: keep up, don’t be boring, and for the love of God, don’t show up to Disney without a plan.” 😂

WE ARE BACK!!! 🏡🙌

We finally rolled into Hays at 5 AM, and I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to be home. 😂 What a WEEK!

Yes, it was HOT. ☀️🥵 But we were prepared, the kids did fantastic, our food was sooo good, and the memories we made are absolutely priceless. ❤️🏰✨

Disney is no joke. 😂 You don’t go to Disney to relax—you go to explore, experience, eat, ride ALL the things, and make memories. We plan our days to a T, and that’s what allows us to fit so much in while still enjoying every minute of it.

I already can’t wait to go back with the whole family again. BUTTTT…my next Disney adventure is going to look a little different because it’s a LADIES TRIP!!! 👀💃🏰 I cannot wait to share more about that!

For now, I’m taking the next three days to RESET. Get the kids started back to school, get life back in order, unpack approximately 472 things 😂, and then I’ll be sitting down to catch up on work!

I can’t wait to get some quotes sent out and hopefully get a few more amazing trips BOOKED! ✈️🏝️🏰
