Most countries require your passport to be valid for 6 months beyond your return date. I've seen travelers turned away at the airport over this — trips ruined over a date nobody checked.

If yours expires before mid-2028 and you're traveling in 2027, renew now. Current processing is running several weeks, and it always gets worse in spring.

There's nothing quite like sailing through the Norwegian fjords — towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and storybook villages around every bend. It's one of those trips that ruins every other view for you (in the best way).
