Believe it or not, Christmas is less than 4 months away! If you're looking for a family-friendly trip for this Christmas season, here are several places to start thinking about. St. Augustine, Florida's Nights of Lights features millions of beautiful lights that decorate the streets, buildings, and trees. You can take a stroll through the streets, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, or hop on the Trolley Tour to experience the beauty of the city. Another option is Helen, Georgia where you can take part in a Bavarian Christmas complete with a German-style Christmas market. The city offers a unique experience in an Alpine Village setting where you can taste traditional treats and beverages, purchase handmade crafts, listen to festive music, and even meet Santa Claus. If you prefer a different style for your Christmas celebration, Williamsburg, Virginia is the perfect place for a Colonial Christmas. Here you can take a trip back in time to the 18th century and experience streets lit with thousands of candles, caroling, musical performances, and storytelling. This is just a taste of what's available for the upcoming Christmas season. Start making your plans today!

Amsterdam, the capital and largest city of the Netherlands, is famous for its historic canals, cycling culture, and rich artistic heritage. Originally founded in the 12th century as a small fishing village, it has grown into a top travel destination for people from all over the world. Some of Amsterdam's main attractions include Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank House, and the Canal District. Cycling is the primary mode of transportation for locals, with hundreds of kilometers of dedicated bike lanes. The city is known for its tall, narrow canal houses built during the Dutch Golden Age. Amsterdam combines a cozy, historic atmosphere with a vibrant social environment. Visitors can rent a bicycle or take a relaxing stroll through Vondel Park, the city’s largest public park, which provides the perfect location for a picnic. The city also offers beautiful skyline viewing, outdoor markets, historic neighborhoods for exploring, authentic dining opportunities, and of course the beautiful tulips and windmills. Fall is a great time to visit Amsterdam because of the smaller crowds, shorter lines, lower accommodation prices, and beautiful golden foliage along the canals.

Glacier National Park, established in 1910, is a one-million-acre wilderness reserve in northwestern Montana. It is known for it's glacier-carved peaks, alpine lakes, and abundant wildlife. The park contains over 130 lakes and 25 “active” glaciers that move due to thawing and melting. Glacier is home to numerous animals such as grizzly bears, black bears, moose, elk, and mountain goats. It features the Going-to-the-Sun Road, a 50-mile scenic drive that crosses the Continental Divide at Logan Pass. Early Fall/September is an ideal time to visit if you prefer lighter crowds and cooler hiking temperatures. Popular hiking trails include Fishercap Lake Loop, Hidden Lake Overlook, and the most challenging Highline Trail. There are lodging options of hotels, inns, and lodges both inside the park and in the surrounding area. In addition to hiking and wildlife watching, the park also offer water activities such as kayaking as well as horse-back riding.

Amanda and Claire recently enjoyed a trip to the Mamma Mia Islands in Greece for Claire's birthday. After landing in Skiathos, they traveled by ferry to Skopelos Island, where they stayed at the Minnno Boutique Hotel and Spa. This hotel features traditional Skopelite architecture with ceramic details and wooden elements inspired by the island. Skopelos, known as the greenest island in the Aegean, is covered in pine forests that meet clear blue waters. The island gained fame as a primary filming location for the movie Mamma Mia! Some of its top attractions include Agios Ioannis Kastri, Amarantos Cove, and Kastani and Milia Beaches. Thank you Amanda and Claire for sharing these beautiful pictures.

During their stay in Hawaii, Jannie and Avery enjoyed The Road to Hana (Hana Highway), a famous 64-mile scenic drive along Maui's northeast coast from Paia to Hanathe. The drive features lava-rock beaches, rainforest waterfalls, and historic stone bridges, with stops at Twin Falls, the Garden of Eden Arboretum, Waianapanapa State Park, Papiwai Trail, and Waimoku Falls. For their last night in Maui, they were treated to an authentic Lahaina luau! These cultural shows celebrate Polynesian heritage and the spirit of the Hawaiian islands. Thank you again Jannie and Avery for sharing your beautiful pictures. It looks like it was an amazing trip!
