The boardwalk kiosk in the Canyon is officially open! Visitors can find all the information they need for Eat-Play-Stay-Shop-Local Transportation specifics—as well as our comprehensive Visitor’s Guide—to make the most of visiting the Denali area!!

Hot off the presses!! The Visitor’s Guide to Denali Borough & the On-The-Go Pocket Guide are now available!!! We’ve already mailed 7,000 copies of the Visitor’s Guide around the state, and we are slowly stocking them locally. Winner Wednesday! Congrats to Panorama Pizza Pub at Mile Marker 224 in Carlo Creek on the George Parks Highway for winning the “Best Bar” in Denali!

All summer, the bar is open 5pm-2am with a menu only serving Alaska-brewed micro beers on tap, as well as non-alcoholic bears, spirits, wines and mocktails (and food!!). Pano (as locals call it) hosts live music events several times per month. Karaoke is a Denali tradition with tunes belting every Wednesday night in the summer, and there’s even free shuttles through Denali Transportation (call 907-522-5820 for pickup times and locations).

Winner Wednesday! The “Best Motorized” category of the “Best of Denali” is our largest category, with 13 different excursions. Denali ATV took the title, but it was a close race with Fat Truck Tours nipping at the ATV’s heels!

Denali ATV is celebrating its 20th summer in business in 2026! Denali ATV prides itself on being family-owned & operated business with a close-knit team. Operations Manager Danny McGarrigle started as a guide 4 years ago and worked his way up to his current position. With 40 ATVs in their fleet—always brand new each summer with a mix between single riders to side-by-sides—it takes a large staff to offer 7 tours per day. Not only are there 14 ATV tour guides and 6 management staff, there are 3 CDL drivers, 5 mechanics and at least 6 office staff!

Winner Wednesday! The “Best Non-Motorized” category of the “Best of Denali” was another close race, but Denali Park Zipline beat New Wave Adventures by just 12 votes!

Denali Park Zipline is managed by Colin Henderson, who has been with the company since its first year in 2016! With the company offering 6 tours/day (sometimes 8 during the busiest time), the support staff includes 10 zipline guides, 3 management staff, 3 van drivers and at least 4 office staff. The company is proud to be the only zipline tour in Alaska that is an Accredited Operation from ACCT International (Association for Challenge Course Technology), the international governing association over the zipline industry!
