Hello Friends I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this years 49th Annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta has been postponed due to the COVID19 Virus. Hello Fellow "WildBunch" Crew Members.

I have a grand announcement! This Year It is my intention to take my Balloon back to Albuquerque. As of now I have been awarded time off work from October 4th - 14th. Now that I have my time off, I am about to start my Application process for Albuquerque Fiesta.

The Main reason and motivation is to honor our late Friend David Earl Miller (Wild Bunch Founder) who passed away last June and to honor Barbara & Jimmy Quinton who got married in Albuquerque 30 years ago at Fiesta and to honor Becca and John Mills who Got Married at Fiesta 5 years ago. This will also mark 20 years since I first took my own balloon out to Albuquerque and 32 years since attending my very first Fiesta.

As many of you know I have been unable to do much ballooning over the past 3 years due to looking after my Mom who is in remission from Cancer and my Dad who has suffered 2 major strokes and now has Dementia. There is a possibility that this year something could come up at the last minute and I might not be able to come but if I don't plan to go to Fiesta now then I would be unable to get into Fiesta at the last minute. So with al this disclosed I am willing to spend the money to get all the equipment ready, take the time off work and pay the non-refundable entry fee to fiesta to try to make this happen.

I don't yet know what this years crew rates will be for hotels, I know there are also AirBnB options as well. As soon as I gather more information I will let everyone know. I just think it would be really cool to get everyone together and have fun in New Mexico. While there lets plan on making a few day excursions to: Madrid, Santa Fe, Accoma Pueblo and maybe a little hiking in the Sandias.

It’s hard to believe that The terrible events of 911 happened so long ago yet it still seems like yesterday. All of our lives have been affected yet so many seem to forget all the precious lives that were lost and the freedoms we once had that have now also been lost forever. I will Never Forget!!

Everyone, please take a few moments today to remember all who were lost on 911 and all of the brave men and women in our military who sacrificed their lives since then and those who continue to fight for our freedom.
