Thanks to all of our followers over the years!!! We moved to the SE Georgia coast about six years ago and rarely make it to Helen anymore. There are so many great things going on there and we miss it terribly. I'm working on finding someone to take over this page and hopefully bring meaningful content to all those who follow. In just two weeks Cool River Tubing will be open again and this will be the scene on the River!!! Our condos www.vrbo.com/445965 and vrbo.com/508427 are just a 5 minute walk to Cool River Tubing, and you'll float right by the condo on your way down the river, so you can hop out there if you don't want to finish the float down.

Planning a wedding in Helen or nearby? If so, you've got to check out Bohemian Bakery Cafe on Chattahoochee Street (about a 7 minute walk). For everyone else, they have great pastries, desserts, chocolates, coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccinos and more. Perfect place for a fresh baked breakfast.
