On this holiday weekend, a great way to spend it is just "chil-axxin".
If you are hanging out with family or friends or just chillin' on your own, a great way to pass the time and "travel the world" is through books. A book can take you anywhere, to anytime and fills days with wonderful adventure; just by reading and turning those pages.
Want to get out a bit? Come on by today and meet author Nancy P. Corbo as she makes the formal debut of her book BRAVE. This is a great read; full of suspense, courage and lots of youthful innovation. She will be at the store today, September 5 from 12PM - 3PM.
Sir Mickey is feeling MUCH better and has "paw-tographed" more copies of Book Shop Cats. Come on by and get your copy. Each purchase comes with a specially selected extra picture of Mickey (he selected them).
We still have the lovely guitar signed by Dolly Parton and a great new item to the store; a book signed by Princess Diana.....still have books signed by Albert Einstein, John F. Kennedy, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, Jr and many more.
Finally, we are at 80% of our goal to sell 3000 books by September 15, so come on by for that. For every three books purchased, you get an entry into our drawing for great give-aways ....and of course, there is "that party" to celebrate once we hit!!!
