There are a lot of things I can do when it comes to your vacation…but unfortunately, controlling the weather and making a sold-out flight magically reappear are not on the list. 😂✈️

What I can do is make the whole process of getting from “We really need a vacation” to “Our bags are packed!” feel a whole lot easier.

I can listen to what you actually want from your trip, research the options, compare the details, build an itinerary that makes sense for the way you like to travel, and be there when questions—or the unexpected—come up.

Seeing wildlife in Alaska is one of those things you know is going to be incredible...and then you experience it for yourself and realize pictures could never quite prepare you for it. 🦅

There’s something completely different about seeing a whale surface in the water, spotting an eagle overhead, or catching a glimpse of a bear in the distance when there’s nothing staged about the moment.

They’re simply there, living in this unbelievably beautiful place, and you get to be the one passing through their world for a little while.

That was one of my favorite things about Alaska. The wildlife wasn’t something separate from the scenery; it was part of what made everything feel so wild, untouched, and real.

You can look at pictures of Alaska all day long, but being there and seeing it with your own eyes? That’s the part that stays with you.

Here's something travel gives you that you can't fit inside a suitcase. 🧡

You come home with the photos, sure.

But you also come home with inside jokes that make absolutely no sense to anyone else.

The meal everyone still talks about.

The story that starts with, “Remember when we…”

The moment your kids saw something for the first time.

The conversations that happened because, for once, nobody was rushing off to the next thing.

That's why I'll always believe travel is about so much more than unlocking another place on the map.

Happy National Dog Day to the ones who somehow know the suitcase is coming out before we even do. 😂🐾

And of course, I couldn’t let National Dog Day go by without showing off my sweet Bluebell, the little face you see here and one of my favorite reasons to come home. 🐶💛

If you’re a pet parent, you know planning a trip usually comes with one very important question… “What are we doing with the dog?”

Sometimes bringing them along is part of the adventure. Other times, the best decision for them is staying comfortable at home with someone you trust.

So I’m sharing a few things to think about before automatically adding your pup to the passenger list.

A stress-free vacation feels a whole lot better when you know your pup is happy and taken care of, too. 💛

But you’ll remember the trip where everyone was finally together. 💛
The sunset you all stopped to watch.

The dinner where you laughed way too hard.

The look on your kids’ faces when they experienced something new.

The stories that somehow still get brought up at every family gathering.

There will always be another meeting. Another deadline. Another reason why “right now” isn’t the perfect time.

But these years with the people you love? They go by way too fast.
