Good morning! and what a beautiful morning it has been. I swear I heard the song "Morning has Broken" as I walked with the dogs and horses. We had a little rain shower come through with a little thunder. It passed quickly and left behind the sweetest, coolest air! What a blessing!

Meet Tilly - the bay mare here is a loaner from our neighbors. She'll be Jiggy's (paint gelding) companion while the thoroughbred (Rudy) is out for training.

No Place

There is no place to go to feel better.
No walk no run no bike no ride no drive…
Feeling better isn’t a place.
It’s a decision to believe the One who knows everything,
who made everything,
and who will work out everything for the good of those who love Him and are called by name.
Some people might read this and roll their eyes.
They have their reasons.
I’m posting on social media because I think somebody knows how I feel.
Maybe they’ll go with me
to decide.
to believe.
And that makes me feel better.

Christmas. A time for giving. I have a suggestion: give platelets. Seriously, the blood banks are in serious shortage and people are waiting for donors. You likely need to schedule it, so plan accordingly. What a beautiful gift that would be!💜✝️🙏

We are so grateful for the people and the experiences we've had this past year with Rushmore Skies Retreat! There have been some real challenges, but they too are a blessing. Abba God is such a good Father! He's taught us a lot, loved us through a lot, and He's been faithful to His word every step of the way.
