We are honored to use this treasured piece of local Hershey history as our base of operations for our tours. This is where our tours start and end.

This month, sharing a little history of our own. On the grounds of the Hershey History Center at 40 Northeast Drive, Hershey, PA 17033, stands a Trolley-Stop Building, a testament to our town’s rich history. Constructed in 1930, it was situated on Hotel Road. In 1999, the building underwent a remarkable restoration, bringing it back to its former glory.

During the dedication ceremony held in June 2000, President of Hershey-Derry Township Historical Society, Kathy Lewis, and President of the Kawanis Club of Hershey, Mike Kondraski, stood poised to cut the ribbon at the entrance of the restored trolley shed, and thanking all the people who had a hand in the trolley stop’s restoration.

The dedication ceremony was attended by a group of individuals, including Joanne Viozzi, Wanda Reid, Bunny Blinco, and Lee Weist, who were present to witness the momentous occasion. The sign was designed and crafted by Virginia Welsh, adding a touch of elegance to the restored building. Stop by to check it out next time you visit the area.
