Reading,PA!
Last weekend’s road trip found us smack dab in the middle of Reading,PA.
So many great restaurants to choose from!
We settled on Thorn Alley Kitchen.
This place did NOT disappoint!
Situated inside a small artsy enclave with several tiny shops within an beautiful repurposed building.
Handmade soaps, lotions and notions abound!
It was getting late, so we didn’t have as much time to peruse all the vendors, but, we’ll definitely be back!

We tried the shredded cabbage & chicken salad, and the Korean Fried Chicken.
Both were delicious, as were the drinks!
Fresh and seasonal ingredients in a true farm to table concept.
They have generous seating both outside and in.
Live music upstairs.
Definitely recommend 10/10!

Great info!

International travel with kids often requires some extra planning. Avoid added stress by doing the following before booking tickets:

✅ Check your child’s passport expiration date (kids’ passports are only valid for 5 years so it expires faster than you might think!)

✅ Check the passport validity requirements for your destination. Many countries require at least six months validity remaining beyond the dates of your trip.

✅ Check if your destination requires additional documentation when traveling with minors (often the case if only one parent is traveling).

Ladies, we’re getting closer!

I’m loving the feedback coming in for our next girls getaway!

And I especially love seeing women intentionally making room to step away from the everyday, rest, recharge and put themselves back on the priority list — even if it’s only for a few days.

Sometimes we just need a change of scenery, sunshine, laughter and the freedom to simply be.
