With intermittent rain, this week has been mild and delightful for walks. Last night Surewould (our dog) and I got caught in it, but on Monday & Tuesday, we caught some great views from Barefoot Road.

In May, we celebrated our son's wedding here with immediate family only. We hosted the bride's parents, and her siblings and families stayed in another nearby AirBnB. Hightower Creek Vineyards & Winery offered a fabulous venue for a safe, delightful, unforgettable event--just across the road!

Hillside Hideaway is booking fast for the rest of the summer. Look for our listing on AirBnB: Hiawassee Hillside Hideaway. At least 32 hours pass between guests, and our cleaner thoroughly disinfects after every group. The cabin is set on a small rural road with neighbors at a good distance, and guests get the whole place to themselves. It's a great location for a safe and private vacation.
