Apple Delights

Apple Delights Gourmet Apples that are handmade in a licensed home kitchen. Apple Delights began in 2014 debuting at Festivals and taking seasonal orders.

Bernie Boags and Chrissy Triplett decided to venture into the gourmet candy apple business after several trips visiting their former roommate, Chas Highfield in Franklin, PA. Every year we would stock up on Candy apples from their apple festival. After attending several apple festivals in NC, we realized no one down here is making these amazing apples, and we made it our mission. We have practiced

and made several batches of our gourmet apples. Thank you to all of our taste testers! We make our caramel from scratch and each apple is decorated by hand. Bernie's kitchen is approved and licensed for home processing of our apples. We sold our first batch of apples to the employees of Catawba County (where our full time jobs are :-) over Christmas. We received wonderful feedback and are planning to take orders for Valentine's Day apples. Once Fall comes around our hope is to sell our apples at the apple festivals in North Carolina. We always try to get our apples from the various apple farms surrounding Hickory, NC. We have used Honey Crisp (our favorite), Granny Smith, Gold Rush and Cortland Apples.

We wanted to thank everyone who was able came out and support the businesses that were able to take part in Brushy Mountain Apple Festival. We appreciate all the support!!! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and said they look forward to seeing us year to year. It does our hearts good to hear. Special shout out to the man that saw our post earlier in the day and said we were the reason he came out. There were many others with similar sentiments. As always we hope to come back and see everyone out there next year!

With just a little over a week until the festival, we are working hard to ensure everything is ready for the 45th Annual Brushy Mountain Apple Festival! Hello everyone,
Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Have you already purchased something sweet for someone special in your life? If you haven't then give our apples a try. They are sweet and delicious! Best Valentine's Day gift ever!!!!

We'll be taking orders until Friday, February 9th.

This is the last time to order from Apple Delights until the apple season comes back in August/September 2024. So please make sure to get your fill now. As always we appreciate everyone who orders from us or just let others know about us.
