Last summer, my husband and I had the chance to experience Epic Universe for the first time—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. As one of the newest theme parks (just about a year since its grand opening), everything still feels fresh, immersive, and incredibly well done.

From Isle of Berk to Celestial Park, Dark Universe, the new Ministry of Magic (Harry Potter), and Super Nintendo World, the level of theming truly blew me away. Every area felt like stepping into a completely different world.

I’ll be honest—my husband is not easy to impress, especially when it comes to theme parks (he’s a big fan of the ones down the road 😅), so I was a little unsure what he’d think. But even he was genuinely impressed. We both especially loved Dark Universe and the Harry Potter experience—it was next-level.

Earlier in the year I decided to invest in my business through hiring a babysitter to come weekly to watch our kids so I can leave the house to crank out several hours of travel advisor tasks.

As my business has grown it is still important to me to figure out the right balance of my priorities in all the hats I wear - Mom, teacher, wife, travel advisor.

My weekly date with myself to Panera has been a gift, especially this month as we are moving 🙈 and naturally at the same time my company is switching the software system we use. 😣😣

Thankful for our babysitter who loves our kids well, incredible clients who trust me with their trips, for a strong caffeine, and a few hours to work on my never ending task list.

In March of 2027 I am hosting a river cruise with Ama Waterways, taking a group of clients on a 7 day journey from Amsterdam to Basel. We will travel along the Rhine river through The Netherlands, France, Germany, and Switzerland!

Received this picture from a client enjoying her coffee in the lobby of her Nashville hotel on her family Christmas vacation - isn’t this just dreamy?!
