Is your account on your PC an administrator? It makes life easy to install programs but it also allows Spyware/Malware to execute on your machine with admin rights. Best practice is to use a user account which has user level permissions for daily computer stuff. If you need to install something or need admin rights log off and log back on with an admin account. Vista/Win7 users you can use the "Run As" command.

Need help getting that busy family life organized? I setup our own email server and we use meeting requests in MS Outlook to orgranize events like our kids activites, birthday parties, my wife's business events...Its all in there. Now you don't have to use your own email server...you can use hosted services like Gmail (Google's email) to sync your email and your calendar to your smartphone. So get organized!

It’s been said before but it bears repeating....passwords are the front line defense for computer/online security. Instead of using pass"words" use a pass phrase. Pass phrases are typically longer and more complex. A pass phrase can be as simple as "i love my cute dog" it’s 17 characters long and has a special character the "space". Next time you have to enter a pass"word" use a pass phrase.
