43 years ago today!
..My parents opened the doors to their first office for the Smokies' first log cabin rental resort, Hidden Mountain Resort in Sevierville, TN. Now this little building sits at our Apple Valley Road location helping to welcome visitors to our current office, and we use it to tell some of the story of our family and resort.

An update on the recent hurricane impact- Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg are open for business. We did not take a direct hit from the recent hurricane.

Having said that, there are many, many mountain towns within 30 minutes to a few hours of us that were devastated. All roads surrounding Asheville, NC are closed, and a portion of I40 between here and Asheville is washed out entirely. If you generally travel through that area, you will need to reroute and plan additional travel time.
