My real "love affair" with Disney began back in the mid-70s when my parents took my sisters and I on our first trip to Walt Disney World. We were quickly hooked and subsequently returned each year - someti

mes more than once a year - ever since! I have more than 50 visits under my belt and I always find something new and exciting to try each trip. That's the magic of Disney! During my college years, I had the opportunity to spend a semester on the Walt Disney World College Program, where I lived, worked, and experienced Disney 24/7. This gave me a unique insight to the Disney magic at work. I also have an extensive background in hospitality management. To me, service is the most important thing! I love sharing all the magic Disney has to offer with others. I am happy to help you with booking "just the basics" or planning a full, daily itinerary. Share with me your needs and let me be your guide! Pixie and Pirate Destinations never charges our clients anything for our services. We are paid commission from the companies we book vacations with - Disney, Carnival Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines, etc. You will pay the same amount of money booking a trip with us as you would if you booked it directly through the company itself. And sometimes we are able to find a better deal because of the special promotions that are available. A reservation transfer may be an option if you have already booked a vacation. At Pixie and Pirate Destinations our motto is "go above and beyond for each clients individual needs." As a valued client, I will be here every step of the way to help you with your concerns or questions. You will have an email address and phone number so that you can reach me when you need to. Once your vacation is booked I will continue to help with dining reservations, a personalized daily itinerary, and more. I will be availabile through to the end of your vacation to make sure you have a magical time.

Virgin’s newest ship, the Brilliant Lady, is making her way to NYC for her Mermaiden Voyage next month.

Soon after she’ll move to other ports of call. 📞 m excited to sail on her out of Miami this January before she makes her way thru the Panama Canal To Los Angeles before settling in Seattle for Alaskan sailings in September 2026.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) at Walt Disney World is a family-friendly, after-hours Halloween celebration held at Magic Kingdom on select nights from mid-August through Halloween. Here’s what you can expect if you’ve never been:

🍬 Trick-or-Treating
• Guests can trick-or-treat around the park at candy stations set up throughout Magic Kingdom.
• Disney hands out tons of candy, and allergy-friendly options are available.

👻 Entertainment Highlights
• Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade: A must-see with classic Disney characters in costume, floats themed after villains and haunted mansions, and the Headless Horseman leading the way.
• Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular (Fireworks Show): Hosted by Jack Skellington, with projections on Cinderella Castle, lasers, and fireworks all themed for Halloween.

Did you know that on most cruise lines, you may have the opportunity to bid up on unsold staterooms? It’s usually offered via email as you get closer to sail date. This of course depends on availability for your sail dates and usually starts with a minimum bid. While it’s ultimately a bit of a discount, it still can come with a price tag.

Recently, my clients sailed on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Sea and their bid up for the Icon Loft was accepted and this family spent a week at sea being fully pampered. They not only had this beautiful, gigantic suite and their own personal Genie who greeted them at boarding (along with several other staff) where their bags were collected and they were escorted to their suite.

I could go on and on about their entire experience but as my main contact of the family summed it up, “It was Epic”.

For many this would be a once in a lifetime experience. If you really want to splurge and be pampered, this suite is a great way to do so!

Hearing feedback from clients post travel is so rewarding. Especially after we piece together aspects outside the initial package. These clients wanted to expand on their European vacation post cruise to take advantage of their time overseas. With a vendor I partner with we were able to set up transfers from multiple countries as well as hotels knowing they would all be great options.

What did YOU do on your summer vacation?

It's August 1st and sadly, summer here in my little corner of the world is fading fast. School starts in just 12 days. I’m NOT ready for my youngest to start his SENIOR year 😫

Everyone knows I book Disney destinations- and a lot of them.

But, did you know I book other theme parks too? It’s true. Lately one of my more popular destinations is Universal Orlando Resort.
