A career opportunity in Highlands. We are a vacation rental management company and we have need for a management trainee. This position would report to our Director of Operations and would be a trainee for all aspects of the rental industry. The position would include and begin with housekeeping, laundry and inspector. You would need to be available to pick up used linen, trash, etc from houses and deliver fresh linens and supplies, complete inspections for damage and check for maintenance issues, laundry and occasionally perform house cleanings. This position will progress to property management, reservations. The daily responsibilities changes depending upon the work load and check outs. We are looking for someone who will be able to work with little supervision and be adaptable to performing varying responsibilities that are constantly changing due to the needs of our guests and owners. Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday’s. Must be consistent in documenting activities on a phone app and put in maintenance tickets. Must be proficient in adapting to office work. As this job will be driving to our properties you Must have reliable transportation, mileage is paid. If you have a great attitude and no experience, we will train! We are a team, we are looking for team members!

Free vacation in Highlands in exchange for dog sitting!

Two Exciting opportunities for the right someone(s) to stay in Highlands for free! I am looking for the perfect person who may be interested in spending some time in Highlands next summer June and July in exchange for dog sitting very sweet pups of two families.

The first is for 4-5 weeks. There is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home about 2 miles from Main Street. There are two older small dogs and one cat. The house sitting guests would not be able to bring their own pets are the pups are very skittish to other pets and could not adjust.

The second is for 7-8 weeks, 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath. Walk to town. There is a mellow big dog and one could bring their dogs with an earlier meet and greet to ensure a good fit.

Please reach out to me if you have interest. This will definitely need to be a give and take interview to ensure a great opportunity for both parties! What a pleasure to spend some time in the mountains and see if Highlands is the place for you! I know this is early but want to be sure we can thoroughly make this work correctly!
