Hillsboro’s Free Outdoor Concert Series returns to Downtown Hillsboro, Texas, with Saturday night live music in September and October 2026. Concerts are held from 8:00–11:00 PM at The Yard, located at 107 E. Elm Street in the heart of historic downtown Hillsboro.

Bring your lawn chairs, meet up with friends, and enjoy free live music in a casual outdoor setting. The concert series features a variety of Texas bands and local entertainment, making it one of Hillsboro’s most popular weekend activities for residents and visitors.

A food truck is typically available at The Yard, with additional food, drinks, shopping, and restrooms available at nearby Downtown Hillsboro restaurants and businesses. Visitors are encouraged to explore the walkable downtown district and support local businesses before and during the concerts.

Modest coolers are permitted in the grass areas only and are not allowed on sidewalks or in alleys. Guests are asked to enjoy responsibly and help maintain the family-friendly, safe atmosphere of the event.

Hillsboro, Texas has three museums open on Saturdays, and one additional museum you need to catch during the week. Come explore the Texas fossil record, classic cars and memorabilia, Hill County History interpreted through a restored 1800's jail and sheriff's residence, and a museum focused on Texas and Texans during wartime.
