This page has been a tribute to my mom for many, many years. It served as a valuable tool when I was running the restaurant. For over a decade, I think we all honored Penny pretty dang good over the years. I think her spirit was always with us, guiding me, my staff, and my customers through many a good time, and some sad times too! And that, my friend, is all a person could ask for. A legacy, a dream come true, a tribute to those who came before us!
Since our first summer in 2008, back in Watoga, I have hosted many wonderful and loving customers! And I'm so thankful to you. Raise your hand if you ever walked into the dining room at the park and said, "I used to come here as a kid!" Those were some of the best times of my life.
I raised my babies in those restaurants. I saw people get married, and some even go on to have babies. I saw people go to their funerals. And we celebrated so many milestones in between!
I gave everything I had, and we (you and me) did a good job living this crazy thing we call life. Sooo many of you helped me along the way. Thank you!------The park staff, the customers, the community! Everywhere I looked, I saw encouragement. All that love got me through the years.
And I miss my customers. I miss those who trusted me to feed them fresh and delicious food. I miss your smiles and your company. I miss seeing folks change and age from year to year. There are so many customers I would love to see again! Please reach out and connect if you feel inclined.
So, with that, I announce my newest endeavor. I have gotten myself over to the accommodations side of hospitality. I am working as a travel advisor with Lamaster Travel out of Charleston, WV. I help folks plan destination weddings, group adventures, ski trips, all kinds of cruises (river, sea....), all-inclusive resorts, and boutique hotels located across the globe. I specialize in certain brands like Sandals, Hyatt, AmaWaterways, Virgin Voyages, Playa, and many others. I am particularly fond of JAMAICAN travel and other destinations like Kenya, Germany, Greece, Croatia, Mexico, Costa Rica, and so many other fantastic places! My desire to learn and grow this business is strong and I need your help! Please share this, comment, and interact. It would mean the world to me!
