Meet the slate pencil urchin! Unlike the long, thin spines you might picture when you think of a sea urchin, these guys are known for their thick, blunt, pencil-like spines.

One of our favorite parts of getting keiki out on the water is seeing what they discover, and getting to learn a little more about the marine life that surrounds us here in Hawaiʻi.

Adult sailing classes are back aboard Pua! ⛵️🌊

Whether you’re brand new to sailing or looking to build on experience you already have, our small classes are fully hands-on and tailored to your skill level. Come once, or keep coming back and continue building your skills each month.

Our next class is Sunday, September 20 from 11 AM–2 PM, led by Captain Pablo, who brings 35+ years of sailing instruction and coaching experience.

$150 per person
