Some Fall events on HHI.
August 20 7:30 - Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra Jazz in the Park at Celebration Park (John Brackett Quintet)
August 23 – Breeze Trolly “Find a Painted Rock” ride and find! 1) find a painted rock, (2) share on social media, and (3) re-hide the rock. By Friday, August 23rd at 4:00 p.m., Breeze Trolley will have hidden at least 20 painted rocks (each with a Breeze Trolley or HHI theme. Participants will have until 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 25th to find, share and keep the painted rock – or – to find, re-hide and share a picture of the painted rock’s new location anywhere along our Breeze Trolley routes. Participants will be eligible for Breeze Trolley/Culture HHI Prize Packs
September 1 12 pm - Donut eating contest at Sweet Al's. $10 entry fee prizes for the most glazed donuts consumed in 4 minutes.
September 3 7:30 - Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra Jazz in the Park at Celebration Park (Martin Lesch Band)
September 6 - 8 - OluKai Lowcountry Boil Paddle Battle. Multiple races of varying distances for men and women.
September 13 6 to 8 pm – Beer Mile at Low Country Celebration Park. A cup of draft Ultra before every lap.
September 18 – 22 - Hilton Head Island Jam, where Nashville's songwriting brilliance meets Hilton Head's charm. Various venues including Low Country Celebration Park.
September 28 & 29 - Pickleball tournament at Palmetto Dunes Pickleball Center
September 28 – Rhythm and Brews Festival at Shelter Cove Community Park. Live music and unlimited tastings of an expertly curated selection of craft beers, spirits, and wines
October 5 (Noon to 6 PM at Low Country Celebration Park) Lowcountry Gullah Geechee vendors that showcase the vibrant culture through art, food, clothing and more
October 18,19,25 & 26 - Ghosts and Myths of Hilton Head Island at Zion Cemetery and Baynard Mausoleum Outdoor Learning Center four nights of ghostly tales: Fri., Oct. 18; Sat., Oct. 19; Fri., Oct. 25; and Sat., Oct. 26. Experience paranormal stories and historical glimpses of Hilton Head Island from figures like Lydia Davant and Cap’n Jack Stoney.
