What do you collect when you travel?

Long before I saw the world with my own eyes, I read about it in books.
I don’t know when I started picking up bookmarks on my journeys…but I do know that visiting bookstores and libraries is something that I do everywhere.
I keep these precious items in containers on shelves around my house, and among my books.

It often happens that I pull out a favorite time and find one of these mementos -still inside- from my last perusal . In those moments, I take a beat and remember fondly…the version of myself I was when I acquired it, and where I was.
I learn so much about myself when I travel and the gratitude I feel for an expansive inner and outer world is everything.

They’re heeeeerrrre!
Fresh deliveries of catalogs are like Christmas for me. I love to flip the pages, dreamscape, and let my heart fill with all of the possibilities for my clients.

Travel talks happen everywhere for me.

Sometimes they happen barefoot in the garden, with a quiet moment and a full heart. Sometimes they happen from a kayak in Bora Bora, surrounded by water so beautiful it feels almost unreal. And somehow, both moments remind me of the same thing: travel can be big or small, close to home or far away, simple or luxurious, but it should always feel meaningful.

I love helping people plan trips that fit the life they want to live. Whether it is a dream cruise, a once-in-a-lifetime escape, or a small getaway that brings a breath of fresh air, there is something special about turning an idea into an experience.

Good morning ☀️

I will never stop being enamored of the water and the sky.

So grateful for a life of curiosity and wonder.

My heart is full as we are sailing towards San Diego.

Soon I will be back home with my husband and my dogs and I am so looking forward to their hugs.

Fakarava is one of my favorite atolls in French Polynesia that I’ve been to on a HAL itinerary. We were all grateful that the sun came out to create a perfect 80 degree day here.

They have a UNESCO biosphere in their lagoon, and because this area is protected- the fish are HUGE /and unafraid of people. They swim all around you. The coral is also a lot healthier than you see at other islands in FP.
On top of this- the water is that gorgeous aqua, warm, and easily accessible as you stroll or bike along the spit of land that makes up this little paradise.

I adore this jewel in the pacific.
Look for it on your next cruise itinerary to French Polynesia…
or… your next yacht trip!

HAL does a nice itinerary this way each fall in October. It’s around 35 days, and it’s roundtrip San Diego. So, no long ocean flights if you are in US or Canada.

Smaller lines -like Windstar- come here too. So there are options.

I’ll sea you under the sails. 😉
