Universal Orlando Resort just dropped a HUGE wave of announcements, and things are changing FAST

Here’s what’s coming (and what’s leaving):
*The Horror Make-Up Show will temporarily close May 12 for a reimagined version featuring both classic and modern horror franchises
*The Lost Continent at Islands of Adventure will begin closing in phases to make way for an entirely new themed land — including the eventual closure of Mythos Restaurant in 2027
*Thunder Falls Terrace is closing this summer and will become a brand-new signature full-service restaurant
*Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift races into Universal Studios Florida in 2027
And that’s not all 👀
*Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice from Joey Fatone is replacing Hot Dog Hall of Fame at Universal CityWalk Orlando

Big changes are coming to The Lost Continent at Universal Islands of Adventure

Universal Destinations & Experiences has announced that several attractions, dining locations, and experiences in the area will permanently close in phases as preparations begin for an entirely new themed land.

One major change? Mythos Restaurant is expected to close in 2027.

A lot is changing around Universal Orlando Resort right now, and this is only the beginning .
