Have you ever noticed you pick up little habits and phrases from the people you love? It’s no wonder our hearts are so easily broken when people leave. We become a reflection of the people that we care about and those personality traits stick with us even if the people don't.

I make my eggs the way my Brazilian friend taught me in her kitchen. Every fall, I listen to a playlist made for me by a boy I met fixing houses with in GA. I eat sushi because a girl who doesn’t talk to me anymore made me try it, and Indian food because my best friend ordered for me before I knew what I liked. There are movies I love because someone I loved loved them first. I am a mosaic of everyone I've ever loved, even for a heartbeat.

“This reminded me of you" and "you reminded me of this" is such a warm thing to say to someone or even think because the former is "I see you in every piece of the world I see” and the latter “ I see the world in you” and they’re both so pretty. You change people. Your name makes others smile. Your work moves people. someone might compliment you somewhere, right now. Someone’s heart will beat faster just thinking about you. Your friends remember your experiences fondly. Someone might see a book in the store and think of you, too. You inspire others to keep going, or you will someday. Your presence matters and changes the world every day.

Travel snack hack: Go to your local "has everything" store and in the fishing aisle grab a tackle box. Instant snack box for plane/road trips. My kids and I have so much fun packing them and can't wait to snack on our flights😋

A small tackle box can also be used for jewelry, medical items, etc.

⚠️Attention Travelers entering the US⚠️

On Jan. 12, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) expanded the requirement for a negative COVID-19 test to all air passengers entering the United States. This requirement will go into effect on Jan. 26, 2021.

We are sharing the information we have at this time and are closely monitoring the situation. Proactively we are engaged with hotel suppliers, destinations and ground handlers to ensure this latest travel update is managed seamlessly.

We will be proactively communicating important information with you on our page, we will be updating it continuously as information is received.

According to the CDC, air passengers entering the U.S. will be required to present documentation of a negative COVID-19 viral test (called a Qualifying Test) conducted within the 3 days before their flight to the U.S. departs.

•Documentation should be for a viral test as approved or authorized by the relevant national authority.

•Test results must state: Negative, SARS-CoV2 RNA Not Detected, SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Not Detected, or COVID-19 Not Detected.

•Documentation may be paper or electronic copy and must include the name and contact information for the laboratory or healthcare personnel who performed the test.

•Test results may be required to be shown again upon landing.

Alternatively, passengers may provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 with documentation of test results conducted during the three months preceding the flight’s departure from a foreign country.

•Test results must state: Positive, SARS-CoV2 RNA Detected, SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Detected, or COVID-19 Detected. Invalid will not be accepted.

•Additionally, a letter from a licensed health professional stating that the passenger has been cleared for travel (called Documentation of Recovery).

Finally, all airline passengers will be required to present a simple CDC attestation form to the airline for collection prior to boarding. That form can be found below for reference.

There’s nothing wrong with chasing an adventure, sometimes the first step is the start of a trip of a lifetime. The Montage International in Los Cabos is definitely that. From the warm welcome, delicious paletas, authentic Mexican textiles, cuisine to die for, unparalleled service, the best snorkeling, glamping and so much more. This property truly has it all located on the shores of Santa María Bay it’s sure to delight all of the senses. One can book a suite up to a private 5 bedroom residence. Setting foot on this property you won’t want to leave. I know I didn’t especially after the key lime paletas. Thank you Adriana Cuellar, Lourdes Bizarro , and Luis de Mateo for making this visit possible.

Yesterday took a little adventure to the coast! Bird Island is where we landed to look for the Mailbox. For those Nicholas Sparks fans you may have even read about it in one of his books. The Kindred Spirit Mailbox📬 is a special mailbox even though it appears to be very ordinary. But why a mailbox on an uninhabited island?

FOR THE LAST 30 YEARS, this small black mailbox printed with the words “Kindred Spirit” has graced the shores of Bird Island.

Although no one seems to know the identity of the real Kindred Spirit(mailbox keeper) visitors use the mailbox to express their hopes, loss, love and thoughts. Over the years the even stopped the development of the island with visitors handwritten pleas.

I have to admit it felt really good to ✍️ my own letter and leave it. Well see what happens 🤞.
