I hope everyone is having a happy holiday season! Anybody want to get away from the cold northern winters and take a trip to AMI in February? We have the first two weeks of February open (Feb 1-15) and I've discounted the rate to $450/night since it's last minute. 7 nights for $4040 total with cleaning and taxes. Hi friends of Sunset Landing AMI! I wanted to give everyone an update after hurricanes Helene and Milton came through. Helene brought some storm surge to our ground level, but since our house is elevated, the ground level is just garage and storage. We have to replace a couple feet of drywall, but nothing too bad. The pool got flooded with some debris but that has been dealt with already. I spent a week down there cleaning up. Then…Milton brought winds around 100 mph, which broke some shingles loose on the roof and we lost one piece of siding. I have contractors set up to take care of that. So we were very fortunate. My heart goes out to all those that were devastated, but I’m very grateful for how we fared. Holmes Beach has imposed a moratorium on renters until November 16, but our beach house will be ready to go by then and much of the island will be recovered by then as well.

Hi friends of Sunset Landing! We still have a couple opens weeks this summer that I've drastically discounted. We have the weeks of June 15 - 22 and July 20 - 27 open to book. Since they are fast approaching, I've discounted the June week to $4000 rent, plus $425 cleaning and 12% tax, for a total of $4956 and the July week to $5000 rent, plus $425 cleaning and 12% tax, for a total of $6076. I'm happy to report that Sunset Landing AMI made it through its third "I" hurricane with no damage. For all my future renters, you can rest assured that your vacation is secure...at this point. Let's pray for no more hurricanes this season! Thoughts and prayers to home and business owners on AMI that suffered flood damage. Hoping for a quick recovery for some of our favorite establishments. Also, MANY prayers for those in FL and neighboring states that were devastated by Idalia.
