Milton update… Our kind next door neighbor sent us some exterior pics. We have some pretty significant roof damage, but the underlying membrane appears to be in tact. Milton also took our sign as a souvenir. We get it, Milton, it was pretty awesome. You can keep it but just remember the score… Sandy Pants 1 - Milton 0.

Our awesome COhatch construction team cleared the path to the beach on White Avenue today! They also saved / unburied a bench dedicated to Tucker Swain (a little boy who passed and loved AMI). Tucker’s family reached out for help and these guys stepped up. These guys are amazing people! So thankful for them.

🌊 Community First, Safety Always ❤️

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, our beloved Anna Maria Island has endured significant damage. While we are committed to welcoming back visitors who bring life and energy to our shores, our priority right now is the safety of our community and the islands recovery efforts. Every home has been assessed and complete restoration is underway.

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to cancel all short term vacation rentals islandwide to our visitors for the month of October. While some homes will be ready to welcome guests in a matter of days, the island as a whole is still in the process of clearing debris, restoring roads, and ensuring public spaces and beaches are safe and accessible.

Any guests set to arrive in the City of Anna Maria, now through October 31, will be offered the opportunity to cancel, and we will work with you to credit or refund through your existing trip insurance policy or directly through our company.

Businesses and restaurants including the Anna Maria City Pier are already reopening. The north end of the island and the City of Anna Maria have stated that they will be ready and willing to welcome guests as soon as possible.

The City of Holmes Beach has asked us to pause on housing visitors in vacation rentals until November 16, but please understand this date could be reduced or adjusted at any time based on the island and each individual homes recovery process. Therefore, we have made the decision that guests currently reserved in Holmes Beach or Bradenton Beach homes set to arrive prior to November 16 will also be canceled.

We are doing everything we can to expedite the recovery process and we will keep you informed every step of the way.

Please know and trust that all recovery efforts are being done professionally and correctly, following guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of all our future guests. We would never open a home to visitors that we would not put our own families in.

Together we will rebuild and when you return the island will be the beautiful, welcoming place you remember.
