The wild life: welcome Beryl Air’s newest pilot, kicking off the season by touring some Alaskans to their old logging camp. These people logged the outer coast in the 1950s. Amazing stories of adventure and survival— suffering scurvy waiting for the supply boat from Seward, surviving the tsunami that followed the 1964 earthquake. When asked what growing up like that was like, our passenger said: “it was like any camping trip— just being outside all the time.”

In the mid ‘00s, we showed up in Homer and started flying to the villages and small towns of Kachemak Bay, none of us having a clue we would still be here almost 20 years later.

Beryl Air is a family owned and run floatplane service in Homer, Alaska. We offer wildlife tours to see bears and walrus, often spotting wolves, foxes, birds and other animals as well. We fly rafters, hikers, campers and other adventures on private charter trips. We offer scenic air tours or can create a unique boat, air and hiking trip for our active clients. We fly to Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks and also to Kachemak Bay State Park. We offer charter service around the state of Alaska and provide critical service to locals and commercial fisherman that need to go to work or go home. Our flights are fun, safe and lifetime experiences. Whether you’re on vacation or on adventure, we hope you’ll join us.
