It’s a lot of hard work (and fun too!) to keep our gift shop looking this great! We appreciate our retail associates so much and all their hard work. In addition to our returning employees, we’re looking to add some new faces for Summer 2024 & beyond ☀️
If you’re home from college or interested in seasonal work in the middle of the Homer Spit hustle & bustle- then come work with us!

We have a few different locations on the spit and multiple shifts throughout the day so we are flexible with scheduling.
Our gift shop and lodging is open May - September. If you have to leave for school/college in August, please still reach out, we can work with your availability!

Retail experience preferred but not required! We will teach about all the aspects of our business from knowledge on products, charters, & adventures we offer.

Central Charters has a great team environment that we continue to improve on with the addition of new team members.

Spooky szn is upon us and Halloween is almost here!

We thought we’d introduce a scary saltwater creature: Lingcod. While quite ugly, they taste DELICIOUS!

Fast Facts
- 18 SHARP fangs
- Grow up to 80 lbs
- Voracious predators- (known to eat other Lingcod their same size!)
- Life span is about 25 years

After July 1, maybe you’ll be lucky enough to catch one of these unattractive, toothy fishes!

Fun Fact: There are 13 species of otters in total, ranging from the small-clawed otter to the giant otter. 🦦
