National Park history can be stranger and darker than fiction!

When we think of National Parks, we picture breathtaking scenery, wildlife, and incredible adventures.

But some of America's most beautiful places have surprisingly dark chapters in their history.

😱 A failed medical experiment deep inside Mammoth Cave.

🏝️ Infamous prisoners held at an isolated island fortress.

🏜️ Charles Manson's remote desert hideout.

✈️ A tragic midair collision over the Grand Canyon.

And these aren't ghost stories. They really happened.

I recently dug into the disturbing history of Mammoth Cave, including the tuberculosis patients who once lived underground hoping for a cure.
