The final day of Paddling Camp was packed with Cahaba River fun! 🛶🌿

From rope swings and catching tadpoles to cooling off with a Doodles Italian Ice treat, campers made the most of every moment. We wrapped up the week by giving back to the places we love with a creek clean-up at Watkins Brook.

What a fantastic week of adventure, exploration, new friendships, and unforgettable memories on the water!

Day 4 of Paddling Camp brought a special treat as we paddled out to see some of the last Cahaba lilies of the season! 🌸🛶

The river gave us one final glimpse of these incredible blooms while campers continued building their paddling skills, exploring the Cahaba, and enjoying all the adventures the river has to offer.

Campers explored a new stretch of water, sharpened their paddling skills, searched for wildlife, and enjoyed the beauty of one of Alabama’s hidden gems. Every bend in the river brought something new to discover and made for another memorable day of unplugged exploration.

Day 2 of Paddling Camp brought another fantastic adventure on the water! 🛶🌿

A great day on the Cahaba River was filled with paddling, searching for river critters, exploring the natural world, and tackling a couple of fun STEM challenges. From wildlife discoveries to teamwork and problem-solving, it was a day packed with adventure and learning.

Today, campers worked on paddling skills, built confidence on the water, and tackled the Starfish Challenge—a fun test of teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

Tomorrow, we take our skills to the Cahaba River for a day of exploration and adventure. We can’t wait to see what the river has in store!

We are beyond excited that our first-ever all girls mountain bike camp, in partnership with ACAmtb and their GRace program has officially SOLD OUT! 🚵‍♀️💚

Thank you for the incredible support. We’re thrilled to welcome 10 girls representing 8 different ACA teams from all across Alabama—from the north end of the state to the south.

We can’t wait for an amazing week of riding, community, fun, and unplugged adventure!
