Do you have a student who needs volunteer hours? Are you looking to get involved in the community, make new friends or build connections?

The Greater Honesdale Partnership needs volunteers to bring local history to life during Ghost Tours and Jail Tales. Opportunities include ghost characters, tour guides, check-in, setup and cleanup.

Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older.

Our 2026 Angel Tree Program is quickly approaching. Angel Tree provides Christmas assistance for eligible Wayne County children ages 0-15.

Angel Tree intake appointments will take place September 28 through October 6 and are by appointment only.
Families interested in applying should be encouraged to call our office as soon as possible to schedule an intake appointment: 570-352-3435

Please remind families that this is the only intake period for the Angel Tree program, and appointments fill quickly.
