Last day of touring before we had home for the Tohoku Summer Getaway & Tokyo tour.

A leisurely morning with a late checkout and then we made our way to Harajuku & Omotesando. Stopped in Toyosu for lunch and our final stop before heading to the airport Diver City for some final, last minute shopping.

Our Tohoku Summer Getaway & Tokyo Tour started yesterday with a walk around Sendai Morning Shopping Street which was like a very small version of Tsukiji.

As we left Sendai via Shinkansen where we got to see the Sendai mascot make a quick appearance before we headed to our train.

First stop in Tokyo to our favorite dried seafood/snack stand in Ameyoko and free time for lunch.

Ended the day at our home in Tokyo-Sunshine City Prince

Last stop of our Tohoku Summer Getaway Tour in Sendai- Kanezuka Sasakama Kan where we got to grill fish cake before checking in to our hotel. The public bath facilities felt like a spa and offers free drinks.

Late post of Tohoku Summer Getaway & Tokyo Tour. Yesterday’s adventures started leaving Aomori towards Akita where we visited the Akita Inu Museum and got to see some of the Akita dogs.

We later stopped at Michinoeki Takanosu for lunch. There was a museum for the largest Taiko drum and some members and our guide Kiyomi took a foot bath.

Tohoku Summer Getaway group got to enjoy some French Cuisine for dinner this evening. It was oishii!
