The drive across Wyoming today was beautiful from Cheyenne to Jackson Hole. Then we enjoyed a float trip down the Snake River! We only saw 2 eagles and 1 osprey, a deer, ducks and geese!

Yesterday we toured Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, The Garden of the Gods and the Air Force Academy visitors center. Then we traveled to Cheyenne, WY to the Terry Bison Ranch. We rode a train through the ranch and got to feed the bison! Then they fed us bison burgers!!

46 of us loaded on the motorcoach and headed west to Amarillo for our first night. We saw lots of bare land, crops and lots of wind turbines. Today we drove out of the panhandle through New Mexico into Colorado. The landscape changed a lot. This afternoon we visited The Royal Gorge in Canon City, Co. Most of us rode the gondola that takes you across the gorge high above the Arkansas River. Did I tell you it had a glass floor!! Some zip lined across the gorge. Colorado Springs is home tonight.

Auf Wiedersehen (goodbye) to Frankenmuth, Michigan, where we spent the day. We had a great lunch at Zehnder’s Famous Chicken Restaurant, shopped till we dropped at the world’s largest Christmas store, Bronner’s CHISTmas Wonderland, visited the replica of the Silent Night Chapel from Oberndorf, Austria, walked across their covered bridge, and visited some stores along the way.
