Tonight we volunteered at the AMAZING Decatur County Fair - Oberlin KS! We worked the fun Sinko game. We remember it as kids and our kids helped tonight too. Thank you to everyone who keeps the “World’s Oldest Home-Owned Carnival” going every year!

We were out and about the other day, and we happened to be in Hill City. We had never been to the Graham County, KS Historical Society, across from the courthouse. And glad we did!

This is one of the cutest and quaint little museums. They pack a bunch into this building. Nice signage: with very clean & well organized displays.

The curator was so incredibly kind. She made us feel right at home.

Stop by on Mondays & Fridays from 1-4 in the afternoons and check out the neat history of that area.

Grow Graham County - Kansas

Our last stop on the Kansas Rocks! Tour was a great snack/icecream/gift stop at the really neat soda fountain at Ray's Pharmacy & Q-Value in Quinter. Our Soda Jerk was so sweet and the icecream was delicious!

This tour was so fantastic, even with the bumps on the road; literally and figuratively. Haha.

This stop had me stressssssing! Haha. We got the bus down and back to the Castle Rock Badlands! Lynley and the explorers pushed me onward to greatness! It’s out of the way, but this stop is so worth it!!

We had an AWESOME lunch at Act Two At The Majestic. The building was already impressive, then the food came! I had the prime rib open face sandwich and it was incredible. Highly recommend! Great service too!

After Keystone Gallery, we explored Lake Scott State Park. We saw the El Cuartelejo ruins, the beautiful scenery, and the Battle Canyon. Such incredible history!

After checking in to our great hotel, Kansas Country Inn - Oakley, we headed down for an evening walk at Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park. And wow! It did not dissapoint in the evening. Breathtaking.
