Did you hear? Southwest Airlines just announced four new nonstop destinations from BNA®! Starting March 2027, Southwest Airlines will fly nonstop to the following locations:

🌽Des Moines, Iowa
🛩️Wichita, Kansas
🌴Aruba
🐬St. Thomas

Furthermore, they are increasing service to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, offering daily flights starting March 2027 and continuing service to Liberia, Costa Rica, into March.

FYI

UPDATE 11:10 a.m. - The FAA has ended the ground delay program at BNA®, as power has been restored to the FAA Air Traffic Control Tower. Power in the terminal remained on and unaffected during the FAA tower power outage.

Travelers are advised to monitor their flight status and contact their airlines for updates.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a ground delay at Nashville International Airport® (BNA®) due to a power outage impacting only the Air Traffic Control Facility. Inbound flights are impacted, and outbound flights are departing at a much slower rate than usual. FAA personnel are working to restore power and resume normal operations as quickly as possible.

The outage is limited to the Air Traffic Control Facility. Power in the terminal has not been affected, and all terminal operations continue as normal.

Travelers are advised to monitor their flight status and contact their airline for updates.

FYI- Nashville airport update!

The magic is in full swing today for the "R" family. This adult only getaway has been in the planning stages for so long and today is their first park today!

Their resort is the beautiful Port Orleans Riverview. They are ready to tackle their Lightning Lane choices and eat all the food that comes with their Disney Dining Plan!
