If you don't have your REAL ID or another acceptable form of ID ready when you travel, you’ll want to get it as soon as possible.

Starting on Feb. 1, 2026, travelers aged 18+ who do NOT present an acceptable form of ID at the TSA checkpoint may pay a $45 fee to verify their identity through TSA ConfirmID, our modernized alternate identity verification system.

Please know: If you come to the checkpoint with a REAL ID or other acceptable form of ID you will NOT be subject to any fees.

Other acceptable forms of ID may include:
âś… Passport (including passport cards and digital passports)
âś… State-issued enhanced driver's license
âś… DHS trusted traveler cards (like Global Entry)
âś… Military ID (including those issued to dependents)
âś… Enhanced tribal cards

Nearly 20 years after airline passengers were first required to remove their shoes for security, the policy is being phased out.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is planning to allow passengers to keep their shoes on when they go through the general security line at many major airports across the country starting Sunday, two sources told ABC News.

A common question from clients…”how much can I take or bring back?” Here’s the official rules from TSA:

Bringing booze on board? Let’s pour over the rules:

Carry-on:
✔️ Mini bottles (3.4oz or less) are fine if they fit in your quart-sized liquids bag.
🚫 Don’t raise the bar mid-flight, consuming your own alcohol is a no-go unless served by the airline.

Checked bags:
✔️ Under 24% alcohol – Good to go with no quantity limit.
✔️ 24-70% alcohol – Up to 5 liters per passenger, but must be factory sealed.
🚫 Over 70% alcohol – That stuff is too lit to fly, best to leave the firewater at home.

Bottom line is, if it’s flammable enough to fuel a rocket, it’s not flying commercial.

Still not sure what’s allowed? Use our “What Can I Bring?” tool to sip smart before you zip that bag shut. http://spgv.io/6183B1Nt

Pack your patience and appreciation for those working to keep us all safe…

If you’re heading out for a summer vacation, that’s a time for fun and relaxation. Our teams are here to help make that happen by keeping your travel safe and secure.

TSA Officers across the country are working hard every day to keep skies safe during this busy season (it'll be especially busy during this 4th of July week). Harassment, threats, or physical violence will not be tolerated. These actions can lead to fines, removal from the airport, and yes, even arrest.

Know that your safety is always our priority. Respecting those who help make that happen - at your airport and on your airplane - is a must.
