Well we managed to get a mess of gills in between storms today. We had to come in once and let it pass and then headed back out to finish the trip!
April caught a big ol male that has definitely had a tough time! Second bluegill this year we’ve caught with a big chunk missing out out it…

June was a great month for us on Reelfoot Lake. We ran both Bluegill and Bass fishing trips this past month and had some amazing days.

We caught a mess of some nice big blue gill but the bass were hitting also. We swapped rods and caught a few of them too! Both boys hooked up on a monster bass but if you’ve ever fished top water frogs it can be tough to get em to stick!!

My buddies came back this time for some gill action!! Fished a different part of the lake this time and they were amazed at the beauty of Reelfoot. Thanks guys and tell Jim not to sit on the sunscreen next time!😂😂
