Just outside downtown Hot Springs, NC, Lover’s Leap delivers sweeping views of the French Broad River, the town below, and the surrounding Appalachian ridges. This short but rewarding loop follows part of the Appalachian Trail and climbs to rocky outcroppings perfect for soaking in the scenery.

Hikers and visitors love the mix of riverside path and ridge-top overlooks. Bring water, take your time on the climb, and enjoy one of the best viewpoints right here in the mountains.
