DISCLAIMER: Please be advised, neither Ah Shēk Salon nor Merle Norman Cosmetics is responsible for clients possibly contracting Covid-19 during their salon visit. We do ask, while clients are receiving services, please minimize movements and surfaces touched. We are taking all necessary sanitary precautions. Be aware, you are entering our salon at your own risk.
• We ask for your patience with trying to get all of our clients in for their appointments. We have to make considerable changes to how we operate in order to help both you and us to stay safe.
• Only the client receiving services will be allowed in the salon. Please do not bring another person (including children) to your appointment. We apologize, but we cannot have more than one person with one stylist in the salon at this time.
• We also ask that you wait in your car until we are ready for you. When you arrive, please call or text us to let us know you have arrived. Someone will come to your car with a consent form for you to answer a few questions and sign. Once we have sanitized and cleaned the salon space, we will call or text you to come in.
• Once you’ve come into the salon, we ask that you please wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds, as the CDC suggests or use the hand sanitizer provided.
*PPE - We ask that you wear a mask! (Disposable or even homemade!) You may bring your own or we have masks for sale, $10 each.
• Please be advised, your mask may get hair dye on it, stained or it may get wet. We are not responsible for any damage caused to your mask. We will also be wearing a mask and gloves. We CANNOT do your service if you do not have a mask on.
• We also ask that you please take your temperature before coming in, and if it is 100.4 or higher, please stay home!
• If you have ANY of the Covid-19 symptoms, please stay home!
• If you have been in physical contact with anyone that has tested positive for Covid-19, please stay home!
• If anyone in your household is sick with a cold, flu, or allergies, please stay home!
• If you wake up the day of your appointment and you’re not feeling well, please stay home!
• If you have traveled in the last two weeks, please stay home!
• We will not be upset if you have to reschedule! Instead, we would appreciate you letting us know so that we don’t get sick, nor get anyone else sick.
We want to thank you for your continued support, encouragement and love during this very difficult time in all of our lives! Please understand, these guidelines may change as we know more about Covid-19.
