EXCITING NEWS! Starting today, guests can visit www.Oaklawn.com/racing or call 800-514-3849 to purchase Grandstand seats or General Admission spots on the Apron for April 8 and all other race days for the remainder of the season. Online sales only (no walk-up or door sales). There will be a limit of 6 seats per person per day.

The infield will be open today (first day of spring) and tomorrow! The forecast calls for a beautiful weekend of live racing. No reservations are required. Chairs and blankets are permitted (coolers, tents, backpacks are not permitted). Gates will open at 11am. Guests can enter through the North Alley off Central Ave. across from the Best Western hotel. Food trucks, concessions, tents, picnic tables, ATMs, mutuels, and live music by Cliff & Susan. Masks for age 10+. See you soon!

THE INFIELD IS OPENING STARTING SAT, MAR 6 & every Saturday for General Admission (weather permitting)! Gates will open at 11am, all guests are required to enter the infield thru the NORTH ALLEY only. Signage will direct guests to the North Alley, which is located off Central Avenue across from the Best Western hotel. Oaklawn’s north parking lot will be open for parking. No reservations required, first come first served, all ages welcomed. In accordance with health and safety guidelines, Oaklawn management will monitor capacity throughout the day. Masks are required for ages 10+. Social distancing protocols are still in place. Chairs, blankets permitted. Tents, coolers, backpacks NOT allowed. Live entertainment by Cliff & Susan. Food trucks, concessions, wagering. SEE YOU THEN!

Pursuant to the Arkansas Department of Health directive, Oaklawn plans to conduct the 2021 live meet with limited spectators.

“We’ve been working on plans covering numerous scenarios and we’re happy to announce we will be welcoming back race fans in 2021, albeit on a limited basis,” General Manager Wayne Smith said. “We know that the fans are what make Oaklawn so special, but our main concern is for the safety and well-being of our guests and team members. We appreciate the support we have received from the Arkansas Department of Health in developing this plan. Lace up your boots, break in your running shoes, oil your bike gears, and get your paddles out – the 2021 Iron Ranger Challenge launches on January 1st!

The Iron Ranger Challenge encourages everybody to hike, bike, run, paddle, walk, or swim 100 miles on any Arkansas public lands. If you have a favorite city park or a trail that you’ve been eyeing, this is your year to get to it. Keep track of all of your miles accrued and once you reach 100, mail or email us your log. In return, you’ll get the greatest prize of all: ultimate bragging rights, a 2021 Iron Ranger patch, and a certificate!
